When you come to our office, topical fluoride is what you will most likely receive. This kind of fluoride is applied directly to your tooth enamel. These applications have been used for decades to prevent the decline of the oral health of children and adults alike.
Fluoride treatments at our office are applied directly to your teeth and usually only take a few minutes. Afterward, we recommend that you wait at least 30 minutes to eat or drink in order to let your teeth absorb the treatment. Depending on the status of your oral health, you may be advised to receive this treatment every three, six or twelve months.
